Shepherds Pie Boxty review by Waitforme78
OMG! Who knew comfort food could be soooo delicious!! I had never eaten a Boxty before and when I read "potato pancake", I was half expecting something like a hash brown. I was surprised to see it really is a pancake and the shepherds pie filling is all wrapped up inside with some decoration on top. It is truly A savory delight! McNally's has a winner with their Shepherds Pie Boxty!
Shaved Prime Tri-Tip Beef Sandwich
The prime tri-tip beef sandwich was DELICIOUS! It was flavorful and tender and was perfectly sauced. On a rainy day, it was a perfect early Sunday dinner. Paired with sweet potato fries was perfection. I'll be back to order it again.

The Shepherd's pie is the absolute best! I was so impressed with the flavor and crispy crusty potatoes! This dish reminds me of family and gatherings we would have. Amazing!

This is the whole reason we visit. I take my Irish grandfather here whenever we have our date days. We drive for the best food from Genoa, Illinois. It is his favorite meal in the world, and he always has leftovers for dinner. I get a Ruben/Rachel sandwich (extra Krout, you'll thank me later). The Boxty Salmon meal is also delicious. We love this restaurant so much that we purchase shirts. The staff is so accommodating and sweet. I recommend this to many people I meet and work with.
Blackberry Avo Turkey Sandwich
It was delicious. Got the lunch special. 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich. Very filling. Beer was good too!!

This is the only place that I go for a rueben sandwich besides my mom's house. This one is better, but keep that between us.

I've always loved McNally's and with the new space it's even better! My go-to is the fish and chips---the fish has that crackling crisp savory coating with tender fish inside. You can't beat it! Plus the staff are all wonderful.
